Carl Paulson, Vice President of Catellus Development, is responsible for the planning, design and construction of all public related improvements in Central Texas for Catellus. Specific to this role, Mr. Paulson has engaged and managed all consultants and contractors involved in the planning, design and construction of $158 million of public infrastructure while working on Mueller, the 700-acre redevelopment of the Robert Mueller Municipal Airport in Austin, Texas. These improvements include the construction of 93 acres of parkland, restoration of former prairies, construction of regional wet ponds, demonstration gardens, community gardens, public pools, public art and other such public park facilities. Mr. Paulson also managed the company’s LEED-ND application and award process for Mueller.
Prior to joining Catellus in 2004, Mr. Paulson was a project manager of land development for DR Horton Homes in Austin where he was responsible for the development of the company’s land after zoning approval thru final acceptance of the constructed public improvements by each of the involved jurisdictional authorities.
Mr. Paulson received a Bachelor of Environmental Design from Texas A&M University in 1990 and Master of Science in Land Development from Texas A&M University in 1993.← Back to Management Team
