As Senior Vice President of Catellus, a ProLogis company, Matt Whelan oversees our regional development activities in Texas and serves as the project director leading the redevelopment of Robert Mueller Municipal Airport in Austin, Texas.
Prior to joining ProLogis in June 2006, he spent eight years with CCNG Realty, Inc. in Austin. At CCNG, Mr. Whelan was responsible for strategic planning and overseeing the real estate operations of Spanish Oaks, a 1,300-acre, $1-billion, mixed-use, master-planned project. Previous to his work at CCNG, Mr. Whelan gained valuable experience consulting on development planning and public financing for large real estate projects.
Mr. Whelan graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering.
