Aidan Barry

Mr. Barry oversees the northern California development region including the Alameda Landing development. Prior to joining Catellus, Mr. Barry served as General Manager for Alameda Point Community Partners, a partnership of Shea Homes, Shea Properties and Centex Homes. The goal of this entity was to turn 700 acres on the San Francisco Bay into a thriving mixed-use development, including 3 million square feet of commercial and 2,000 residential units. For five years, Mr. Barry worked with the City of Alameda in negotiations with the U.S. Department of Navy in order to accomplish the transfer of the former Naval Air Station Alameda to the City. Mr. Barry also worked with The DeSilva Group, a major land development firm based in Dublin, California, focusing on projects requiring environmental and hazardous material remediation.
Mr. Barry attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo majoring in Landscape Architecture. Prior to joining DeSilva Group, Mr. Barry was the Vice President of Construction for the Harbor Bay Isle project in Alameda, California, a master-planned community of 1,000 acres of land containing 3,000 homes and 2 million square feet of commercial office facilities.
